In 2013, with the soundtrack to the silent film "By The Sun's Rays" by Charles Gyblin 1914, among hundreds of participants Deckard was selected in the semi-finals at the OZU Short Track Film Festival and performed live along with the 10 finalists at the Vibra of Modena winning third prize. On 28th December 2013 in the context of the film festival" Avvistamenti " edition dedicated to F. Piavoli, Deckard performed live, replicating the soundtrack to the short film "By The Sun's Rays."
Deckard has performed in experimental and extemporaneous contexts (2Levels), for the electro-ambient DJ and with the duo Juno-22 (+live electronics + classical piano).
Cosmopolis is the 3rd album and it was released on the march 31, 2016 on T.a. Rock Records - Electronic Division.
Slope is the 4th album by Deckard and it was released on the 22 september, 2017 on T.a. Rock Records - Electronic Division.
In 2017 Deckard has been touring in Europe with GiaGGio (electronic producer and drummer).
In 2018 a new project is born, PYRMIDEN featuring Marco Cassanelli and Deckard in a live act based on modular synth, keyboards and drum machines.
The two producers, who have numerous releases with national and international labels, concerts and DJ sets in Italy and Europe, merge their backgrounds into a new musical project with harmonic and experimental techno sounds. The traits that in these years have characterized the productions of Cassanelli and Deckard are revived in the PYRAMIDEN project in which the artistic features of the two are preserved but projected into a mix that sounds completely new. A highly imaginative visual journey, nordic atmospheres, granitic energy, deep vibrations for visions of distant outposts. Pyramiden is modular, synthetic and above all, live without computers.
An album recorded live in studio that develops in 11 seamless chapters.
Pyramiden play for a few electronic summer 2018 music festivals in Italy. And now, while the album is almost ready, Pyramiden are preparing a new live performance for a new tour that will start in march 2019 from Berlin. Stay tuned.

Beppe Massara creator and artistic director of Cavo Fest underground festival of electronic music and digital art, art director of Sonic Scene Music Film Festival). At the time of the album release Deckard is touring around Europe with his side-project Deckard VS GiaGGIo.

2016 - AT THE TIME OF "COSMOPOLIS"
Cosmopolis is the third album by Deckard (a.k.a. Beppe Massara creator and artistic director of Cavo Fest underground festival of electronic music and digital art) with whom the producer wanted to develop a new kind of experimental music called Global Electronic, a sound which contains all musical genres which have always inspired him, a sort of crossover of styles exclusively reinterpreted through the use of samplers and digital and analogue synthesizers. New wave, classical, post rock, noise, industrial, EBM, techno, glitch and ambient electronic coexist like different souls within the same song and on the entire production.
The ten instrumental tracks make up a concept album that is satirical and critical at the same time against financial speculation and capitalist distortion that subvert the democratic and political balance: the whole of society trapped under the burden of unending debt, cannibalized by the cynicism of generated profit of those who make money without working and administered by inert governments, corrupt and subservient accomplices in the global neoliberalism, becoming the object of a sound narration at the border between present and future.
A present time marked by the absence of empathy, produced by computer terminals in which the fate of entire communities is decided at the touch of a button and a future built on anabolic cyber-capitalism grows, losing the boundaries of itself in the obese indefinability of the digital flux.
Deckard presents Cosmopolis for the first time at Cafè 1001, Brick Lane London, on 17th March 2016.

2014/2015 - AT THE TIME OF "NOBLE GASES"
Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon and Radon make up the new EP concept by electronic musician, producer and sound designer Beppe Massara, aka "Deckard".
The songs were all composed between January and February 2014 with a renewed stylistic simplicity compared to the tracks on the first album of 2010 "Bit Bullets" and represent a new sound research that reworks the classic European electronics sound of the 80’s and 90’s which has always greatly inspired Deckard.
The 6 tracks "Gaseous" are heterogeneous and different from each other while following a common thread and inspiration: the stability of the electronic structure, as in the noble gases, is central to the vision of this new EP.
By creating an unusual blend, Deckard’s music evokes a cyberpunk literary atmosphere and cinematic noir futurist visions .
The tracks featuring Alberto Fiori (Berlin) - Wurlitzer, Francesco Guerri (Bologna) - Cello, and Carolina Pintos (Buenos Aires) - Voices, characterise the "real sounds" of the electronic compositions of Helium, Neon and Krypton. The vocal and acoustic elements introduced in the songs seem to claim their space in "Humanity" among the multi -layer instrumental and virtual analog synths, glitches and sampling. These elements are meticulously embroidered on simple structures similar to those of rock songs, revealing by the composer a more immediate and instinctive respect to experimentation that marked the previous work.
The sounds become big, dirty and distorted, generating granitic substrates on which to sculpt themes chasing boreal suggestions and stimulate the imagination to introspective paths and night travel aimlessly.

2003/2013 - AT THE TIME OF "BIT BULLETS"
The name Deckard was inspired by the character played by Harrison Ford in the film Blade Runner.
One of the best Labels among those which adhere to the Creative Common, “Quantum Bit Net Label” released the debut album “Bit Bullets” by the musician/producer Deckard on 16th June 2011 under the sign of Cancer.
The Big Bang which unleashed Deckard’s creative flow was a concert by Sakamoto-Noto held in Bari at Venue Ex Gil.
The experimental duo’s transcendent and totalising performance stimulated a totally new and radical impulse in Deckard and ever since that moment of release, his entire production has been influenced, moving towards the representation of Dualism.
The album “Bit Bullets” expresses this concept in music juxtaposing or overlapping the extreme frequencies of the sonic spectrum.
The compositions are characterised by high frequencies that carve the sound sculptures and fragile medium frequencies which are often submerged in those of sub and bass, and the previously mentioned oriental melodies that often dissolve among dirty analogue filters, glassy sounds and hard rhythms, industrial and distorted.
The use of limited audio sampling, part of the sound research, is never the bearing structure of the tracks. The sound environment reawakens imaginative dreams drifting, beyond anthropological limits, through uncharted time, in a technological era in which the space of humanism has been reduced and cybernetics and robotics take over, creating biological clones and artificial intelligence.
Mutism, the absence of voice, the songs become an element, a choice, the few times in which one hears voices, they are robotic and synthetic.
The 12 tracks in Bit Bullets were composed between 2006 and 2011, essentially belonging to two distinct phases in opposition to each other. These, after a conflicting relationship and a traumatic division, reunite and hybridise, finding a synthesis in the final track “Atheism Religion” in which man remains inert with his atavistic doubt, not knowing what to believe.
